Don’t adjust your computers, it is Saturday. A true whole day late for the report, but there are reasons. Work has kept me up to my eyeballs in activity and I was unable to be anywhere near a computer all day yesterday. By the time I got home, we wanted to get the car out and enjoy the first cruise day of the year as a family. It was worth it! Today will also be a wonderful day and I hope to see some of you this morning at Hines park as we start walking with Sarah Austin.
On Tuesday, Damien, Callie, Linda Honey, and I visited the Wyandotte Jaycees at their Monthly GMM. It was nice to visit another chapter and see some of our friends from across the district. We also had a Debrief at Bierkeller in Taylor and I found it to be a quaint little beer pub. Might go back. If you would like to visit another chapter GMM, you are always more than Welcome. Redford’s is this coming Monday at 7:04PM at the Redford Jaycee Hall on Beech Daly.
This Wednesday we had our monthly dinner social at DeLucas and it was very good. While Im not a big fan of Italian food normally, they did have some things on the menu that were of interest and I went with it. The best part was the good showing of Jaycees we had there. I always love seeing us take over a place as the “sea of black” moves in. Send in your suggestions for the next dinner social event!
Tomorrow is swimming with the Fishes. We are pretty excited to go see this and we have a group of 57 people! We were capped at 50, but after a few phone calls from your treasurer, she got us an exception. Turns out she’s pretty persuasive. Really, she is. At any rate, the SEA of Black will take over the Aquarium tomorrow and I look forward to seeing all of you there. Lets take some cool pictures! If you have any questions, contact Melody Montgomery for more information.
Next Thursday is the 123 Net Poker fun night. This is our 2015 Ambassador Sponsor and if you are a dealer, WE NEED YOU. We need at least seven dealers and two support staff to make this a success. We already have the Poker chips on hand and the Tables are being re-felted today at Club Westy starting at 2pm. Please feel free to stop by and help with the tables and on the night of the event. We will also need help loading up and tearing down. Lets make a really good showing at this as there will be several other companies on hand who may be interested in having us do the same. HINT HINT HINT. Ask Jim Hart for more details. 123.Net event is this Thursday starting at 5pm. Located at 24700 Northwestern HWY, Southfield Mi 48075.
The R4L Bowling fundraiser planning is underway. Amy Willingham and team have been ironing out all of the details and getting things lined up to make it a success. Right now, the tentative plan is to have fees at $20 in advance for bowling or $25 on site. Includes food, a couple games, and great times! Should you have any further questions, call your Director, Awesome Amy. Date is May 22 at Westland Bowl
May Conference! Its coming fast! The theme is Kentucky Derby, so ladies, those Easter hats have a double purpose. You can also get crafty if you like and make something. That’s enough for now, I need to get going to enjoy this beautiful day and get some exercise in.
