I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful weather in December. I’m also regretting putting the Cars up for the winter. Be sure to take a moment if you can to enjoy it, because it wont last for long.
If you weren’t at the Westland City Council meeting on Monday, you missed a great presentation. We were able to honor our supporting sponsors and contributors who helped make the 5K a huge success. Among them were Five Star General Sponsor – UAW Local 900, One Star General Sponsor, Dr. Amanda Apfelblat, and Colonel Sponsor Gary Bulson and Men on the Move. Working together, we were able to present checks to our Veterans Organizations
Veterans Haven $7000
Westland Veterans Assoc. $500
The Freedom Center – DTW $500
Camp Liberty $500
Thank you to all who helped make this event a huge success and I look forward to 2016!
